Modhagam is an ancient South Indian sweet dumpling traditionally prepared on the festival of Lord Ganesha. 

Modhagam is a healthy sweet snack made out of roasted rice flour , stuffed with grated coconut, Jaggery, Ghee and Cardamom. This is then  steamed into various shapes and flavours .

Other Names:

Kanada - Modhaka

Tamil- Modhagam

Telugu- Kudumu

English- The sweet dumpling
